Meet Vanessa Berge
Vanessa grew up in Devils Lake, North Dakota. While there, she attended Lake Region State College and obtained her Liberal Arts degree in 2003. She then commuted to Grand Forks, North Dakota on a daily basis to attend the University of North Dakota, from which she graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree. After moving to Grand Forks in 2007 and enrolling in UND’s School of Law, Vanessa graduated with her juris doctorate in 2010. While in law school, Vanessa interned at an East Grand Forks law firm which specialized in criminal and family law. She was an associate justice on the Judicial Branch of the UND Student Government throughout her law school career. Vanessa also worked in the campus’ law clinic, assisting individuals with issues involving housing and employment discrimination.
Vanessa moved to Moorhead, Minnesota in 2010 and began work at Integreon Solutions as part of the Microsoft legal team. While there, she decided to start her own law office and opened Berge Law in July, 2011. She is a member of the Cass County Bar Association and the State Bar of North Dakota. She was a prior recipient of the Pro Bono Award from the State Bar Association and has acted as a moot court judge at the moot court competitions at UND’s School of Law.
Vanessa resides in Moorhead. She spends her free time in a variety of pursuits both individual and involving family, including reading, camping, hiking, cooking and home improvement projects.
